Alings: Your One Stop for Indo-Chinese Food

Searching for Indian food near me? Alings offers a unique culinary experience when you take the time to discover our Indian cuisine selection.

Here at Alings, we offer the opportunity to experience a culinary tradition dating back to the 1700s. Indo-Chinese cuisine originated in the city of Kolkata when Chinese immigrants began moving to India.

The result was a best-of-both worlds blend that you won’t want to miss. Choosing Alings means choosing Indian flavors you don’t always get to see at other restaurants.

Here are some dishes you might want to try.

Bombay Basil Chicken

Transport yourself to Bombay, India with this light and flavorful dish. We batter diced chicken and then sauté it up with fresh basil, garlic, and onions. Try it with our light, flavorful basmati fried rice for a truly tasty treat.

Gobi Manchurian

Indian cuisine truly knows how to punch up the humble cauliflower, and we’ve followed in that tradition with our Gobi Manchurian. This is cauliflower like you’ve never had it before: crispy florets tossed with an in-house spicy sauce and scallions, then served up with cilantro.

Chili Paneer

Paneer is the quintessential cheese of India and is used in so many of the Indian dishes you’re already familiar with. Now try it stir-fried in a soy-based sauce and served up with fresh onions, chilis, and bell peppers. You can have the dry version of this dish or the gravy-based version.

Paneer 88

Another incredible twist on Paneer. This time, we sink paneer cubes into our in-house marinade, then stir-fry them with onions, bell peppers, garlic, and cilantro. We garnish the whole thing with fresh lime and lemon wedges. This is another dish that would be excellent with our basmati fried rice!

Bombay Basil Eggplant

Some of the best Indian dishes are vegetarian dishes. We dive headfirst into this tradition with our Bombay Basil Eggplant. We sauté the eggplant until it is nice and crisp, then stir fry it with basil, garlic, and onions. The whole thing is served up in a delightful sweet chili sauce.

Chili Pepper Paneer

Here’s another fine paneer dish. This time we fry the paneer, then toss it with onions, bell peppers, garlic, and green chilis, then pull it all together with a spicy seasoning. It’s especially good with our chewy traditional Hakka style wheat noodles!
