Must-Try Dishes at Our Chinese Restaurant in Sugar Land, TX

One of the best parts of living in a place like Sugar Land is having the opportunity to explore incredible cuisines from around the world.

And if you come to Alings, you’ll get to enjoy a taste sensation you may not have encountered in the past: Indo-Chinese cuisine. This unique combination of bold flavors formed when Chinese immigrants experimented with local flavors after they immigrated to the area.

You can, of course, find all your old Chinese favorites at Alings as well.

Nevertheless, here are a few new, exciting dishes you may not have tried yet.

Crispy Beef

Crispy Beef

We toss beef in BBQ sauce, then saute it with garlic and ginger. The result is a crisp, filling dish with a slight, sweet snap to it. Pair it with our basmati fried rice to experience this dish to the fullest.

Bombay Basil Chicken

Your One Stop for Indo-Chinese Food | Alings

The flavors of India and China really shine in this incredible dish. We lightly batter diced chicken, then saute it with fresh basil, garlic, and onions. We then serve it all up to you in a sweet chili sauce. Pair this dish with our traditional Hakka style stir-fried wheat noodles to get the full Indo-Chinese experience.

Shrimp 88

S7 Shrimp 88

Shrimp 88 is one of our most popular dishes, and it’s not hard to see why. We soak fresh Gulf shrimp in a delicious in-house marinade before sauteeing it with onions and bell peppers. We add lemon or lime for zest (your choice) and serve it up hot. This bold dish stands on its own with no other accompaniment.

Gobi Manchurian

Gobi Manchurian, Indian Food and Indian Restaurants

Vegetarians never have to subsist on boring salads at Alings’. Vegetarian cuisine is a staple of Indian cuisine, and so we’ve effortlessly incorporated many bold dishes into our menu. You’ll never look at cauliflower the same way again after trying our Gobi Manchurian.

We toss crispy cauliflower florets into an in-house spicy sauce, then saute it with scallions and cilantro. This is another dish that’s great with our basmati fried rice.

Asian Chicken Tikkis

Shrimp Tikki

Our chicken tikkis are on the menu as an appetizer, but in truth they make a gorgeous lunch as well.

If you love samosas, then you’re going to love our handmade, mildly spiced chicken fritters. We serve it up with a beautiful, light, springy dipping sauce, too. Share with the table, or don’t, as you prefer!
